New Insight recently participated in ExpoCAMACOL 2026 in Medellín, Colombia, exploring the growing potential of WPC outdoor materials in the Colombian market. Although WPC decking and other composite products are still at an early stage of adoption, applications such as waterfront platforms, poolside areas, terraces, gardens, restaurants, and hotels offer significant opportunities. During the exhibition, WPC fencing attracted particular attention, as many local visitors were familiar with WPC decking but had limited exposure to WPC fence solutions. Through conversations with local building material companies and industry professionals, New Insight gained valuable insights into market needs and potential applications. The experience reinforced our view that WPC decking, fencing, wall cladding, and railing can offer practical, attractive, and low-maintenance solutions for outdoor projects in Colombia.
